AI Adoption
Useful · AI tooling, deployed well
Pick, deploy, and measure the AI tools that actually save your team time — without locking you into a single vendor and without signing your customer data away in the terms of service.
The included items, listed plainly. No asterisks, no fine print.
- 01Tool-selection workshop based on your real workflows
- 02Configured pilot with one team for two to four weeks
- 03Measurement: hours saved, errors reduced, what is working
- 04Vendor-agnostic — Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, open models
- 05Pairs cleanly with the AI Use Policy in Volume II
Three steps, then quiet.
- Step 01
Workflow + tool selection
We start with the work, not the vendor. A short pass through what your team actually spends hours on each week — quoting, drafting, scheduling, summarising, replying — surfaces three or four real candidates for AI assistance. We name the right tool for each, and we do not push the one we get a referral fee on (we do not take referral fees).
- Step 02
Two- to four-week pilot
One team and one clearly bounded problem at a time. We configure the pilot, train the team in a single session, and instrument lightweight measurement so we know whether it actually saved time. If it did not, we say so — and we move on to the next candidate.
- Step 03
Measure, decide, repeat
At the end of the pilot you get a one-page summary: hours saved per week, errors caught or introduced, qualitative feedback from the team, and a yes/no recommendation. If you adopt, we hand off; if you do not, we close the pilot honestly and try the next.
Built for these operators.
- Small Australian businesses where AI feels overdue but no one has had the time to choose tools
- Teams whose owner has tried ChatGPT once and is unsure what to do next
- Operators who got an enterprise AI suite quote and would like a smaller, honest alternative
- Studios, accounting practices, allied-health clinics — knowledge work where 5–10 hours a week of repeatable text is on the table
And what it is not.
- A vendor pitch. We are vendor-agnostic and we publish our shortlist publicly.
- A custom-AI-build engagement. We deploy what is already on the market and configure it well — no model fine-tuning, no agents-as-a-service.
- A replacement for the AI Use Policy. Adoption without governance is dangerous. The two services are designed to be sold together; we will recommend the policy first if you have not done it.
The questions we hear frequently.
If yours is not here, write to us. We are honest when the answer is "it depends".
- 01
Will you tell us which AI tool to buy?
Yes. We take a position. The recommendation will be specific to your workflow and we will explain why — including the trade-offs and the data-handling implications. You can disagree, and we will say so on the record if you do.
- 02
How much time will my team need to spend?
Two hours of workshop on day one. Half an hour of training before the pilot. Twenty minutes a week of measurement during the pilot. The rest is us.
- 03
What if the pilot fails?
We say so, in writing, and we do not invoice for an extension to make it succeed. Some workflows are not ready for AI — we would rather tell you that on day twenty than on day one hundred.
- 04
Can you deploy AI tools without sending our data overseas?
Often, yes — depending on the tool and the workflow. Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 keeps tenant data in Australian regions; some open-model deployments can run on Australian-managed infrastructure. We will name the constraints clearly during selection.
- 05
How is this different from the AI Use Policy?
AI Use Policy says how your team is *allowed* to use AI; AI Adoption says how your team *should*. The policy is the guardrail; the adoption work is the road. Most clients buy the policy first.
